Abstract

In March 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 2.62 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.06. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 3.92 percent with a CPI of 106.7 and the lowest occurred in Tarakan City at 2.00 percent with a CPI of 104.11.
Y-on-y inflation in North Kalimantan Province occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 6.28 percent; clothing and footwear group at 3.08 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.00 percent; health group at 0.49 percent; transportation group at 0.92 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.74 percent; education group at 0.24 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.92 percent; personal care and other services group amounted to 2.82 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced a decline in the index were equipment, tools and routine household maintenance by 0.20 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.19 percent.
North Kalimantan Province in March the month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate was 0.42 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 0.66 percent
