Abstract

The economy of Tarakan City in the second quarter of 2023 measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the basis of current prices reached Rp 12.86 trillion and on the basis of constant prices in 2010 reached Rp 6.35 trillion.
The economy of Tarakan City in the second quarter of 2023 against the second quarter of 2022 experienced growth of 6.23 percent (y-on-y). The highest growth was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement business field of 25.17 percent.
The economy of Tarakan City in the second quarter of 2023 against the first quarter of 2023 experienced growth of 2.67 percent (q-to-q). The highest growth was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement business field of 23.98 percent.
The economy of Tarakan City in the first semester of 2023 against the first semester of 2022 experienced growth of 6.10 percent (c-to-c). The highest growth was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement business field of 15.77 percent.
In North Kalimantan, economic contribution is still dominated by Tarakan City at 34.42 percent and the lowest Tana Tidung Regency at 6.24 percent.
