Abstract

Of the 90 cities monitoring the national CPI in February 2023, the highest year on year (yoy) inflation was Kotabaru City at 7.88 percent, Meulaboh City at 7.72 percent, and Bandung City at 7.50 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest year on year (yoy) inflation was found in Waingapu City at 3.57 percent, DKI Jakarta City at 4.07 percent, and Tarakan City at 4.10 percent.
The combined goods/services prices of Tarakan City and Tanjung Selor City in February 2023 experienced year on year (yoy) inflation of 4.64 percent with monthly inflation (mtm) of 0.12 percent. Tanjung Selor City experienced year on year (yoy) inflation of 6.76 percent with monthly inflation (mtm) of 0.25 percent. Tarakan City experienced year-on-year (yoy) inflation of 4.10 percent with monthly inflation (mtm) of 0.09 percent.
Annual inflation (yoy) of Tarakan City and Tanjung Selor City combined was influenced by the transportation group at 15.28 percent, the personal care and other services group at 7.99 percent, the equipment, equipment and routine household maintenance group at 5.76 percent, the food, beverage and tobacco group at 3.87 percent, the food and beverage/restaurant supply group at 3.16 percent, the housing group, Water, electricity and household fuel at 1.79 percent, clothing and footwear group at 0.75 percent, education group at 0.63 percent, health group at 0.62 percent, information, communication and financial services group at 0.47 percent, and recreation, sports and culture group at 0.32 percent.
