Abstract

  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels and other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in January 2023 was 29.59 percent or a decrease of 7.06 points compared to the TPK in December 2022 which was recorded at 36.66 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in North Kalimantan Province in January 2023 was 43.88 percent, a decrease of 3.73 points compared to the December 2022 TPK of 47.61 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star hotels/other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in January 2023 was 26.05 percent, a decrease of 6.76 points compared to the December 2022 TPK of 32.80 percent.
  • The number of foreign tourist visits in January 2023 was recorded at 1,434 visits or a decrease of 2,824 visits compared to the previous month which reached 4,258 visits.
  • Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting North Kalimantan in the 2023 period reached 1,434 visits.
  • Departing sea freight passengers decreased from 26,914 to 14,286 in January 2023. The number of goods loaded dropped from 1,503,997 Tons to 1,167,819 Tons in January 2023.
  • The number of aircraft departing from airports in North Kalimantan has dropped from 632 to 425 flights in January 2023. The number of departing passengers dropped from 31,020 to 24,573 in January 2023.
