Abstract

Tarakan City's economy in 2022 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reaches IDR 47.49 trillion and at constant 2010 prices it reaches IDR 24.22 trillion.

Tarakan City's economy in 2022 (c-to-c) will grow 5.59 percent, compared to 2021. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the business sector providing accommodation and food and drink by 11.95 percent.

Tarakan City's economy in the fourth quarter of 2022 (y-on-y) grew by 6.51 percent compared to the same period the previous year. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the Financial Services and Insurance business sector of 12.23 percent.

Tarakan City's economy in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q) grew by 2.60 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement business field of 5.73 percent.

Spatially, North Kalimantan's economy in the fourth quarter of 2022 grew by 6.17 percent (y-on-y). Malinau Regency grew the highest, namely 7.44 percent; then followed by Tarakan City at 6.51; Bulungan Regency 6.49 percent; Tana Tidung Regency at 5.96; and Nunukan Regency 5.71 percent.
