Abstract

Farmers Terms of Trade (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The NTP of Kalimantan Utara Province in November 2022 was 110.29 or an increase of 1.25 percent compared to the NTP in October 2022. The increase in NTP was due to changes in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which was higher than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
NTP per sub-sector of Kalimantan Utara Province in November 2022, namely the Food Crops Farmers Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 96.36; Horticultural Farmers Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 99.93; The Smallholder Plantation Plantation Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) was 166.27; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 104.85; and Fishermen and Fish Farmers Exchange Rate (NTNP) of 103.85.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for Kalimantan Utara Province in November 2022 was 112.17 or an increase of 1.39 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In November 2022 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Utara by 0.18 percent due to an increase in the index on Food, Beverages and Tobacco by 0.26 percent.
