Rice crop cutting (ubinan) survey in Mamburungan

BPS-Statistics Tarakan Municipality, in collaboration with the Food Security and Agriculture Office (DKPP) of Tarakan City, conducted a rice crop cutting (ubinan) survey on December 27, 2024, in Mamburungan. This activity aims to accurately measure rice productivity through direct sampling methods on agricultural land.

The survey involved measurements in randomly selected crop cutting areas, followed by data collection on harvest yields. The results of this survey will serve as a basis for compiling rice production statistics in Tarakan, which are crucial for supporting agricultural development planning.

The collaboration between BPS and DKPP reflects a joint effort to provide high-quality data to support food security and regional economic development.
