Officer Training of Susenas March and Seruti First Quarter 2024

The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is an important pillar in creating a socio-economic picture of households in Indonesia. The quality of Susenas data is key, not only used domestically but also recognized in various parts of the world. In supporting continuity and improvement of data, the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) is here as a step forward, integrating Susenas with two other surveys. The importance of data quality not only relates to sampling error, but also nonsampling error, underscoring the need for officer training as a foundation for a better field.

Officer Training of Susenas March and Seruti First Quarter 2024 at BPS-Statistics of Tarakan Municipality is not just an activity, but a journey towards a big goal. Attended by 39 partners from 4 sub-districts and 14 BPS-Statistics of Tarakan Municipality staff, this training aims to produce officers who understand every aspect of this survey. From concept to SOP, participants are ready to present accurate and quality data. A strategic step using a hybrid method, the training was held on 25 - 28 January 2024 by combining 3 days of online meetings via Zoom Meeting and one day of full board offline meetings at the Tarakan Plaza Hotel.
