Thursday, July 28, 2022 BPS Tarakan City carried out the activities for the Declaration and Development of the Beautiful Village in the Imbaya Meeting Room of the Tarakan Mayor's Office.
Based on the Decree of the Head of the Central Statistics Agency Number 286 of 2022 concerning the Development of Sector Statistics of Beautiful Villages in 2022, stipulates 685 Villages/Kelurahan/Nagari to be carried out for Development of Sectoral Statistics in the Cinta Statistik (Beautiful) Village program and there are 2 Kelurahan from Tarakan City.
This activity was attended by Assistant I of the Tarakan Tarmiji City Government, the Village Head of Kampung Empat, the Village Head of Karang Anyar and the Head of the East Mambirdan Village as well as all levels of the Tarakan City Government.
Head of BPS Tarakan City, Edwin Triyoga, conveyed a general explanation regarding the Beautiful Village, namely that Kelurahan is no longer considered as an object of development, but is placed as the subject and spearhead of development in improving people's welfare. This Beautiful Village aims to increase literacy, awareness and the active role of village officials and the community in organizing statistical activities. This declaration is the second time in Tarakan City where the previous year it was held in Kampung Empat Village and was included in the 15 Best Beautiful Villages/Kelurahan in 2021.
At the end of the event, there was the submission of Certificates for the Best 15 Beautiful Villages / Villages in 2021 to Kampung Empat Village which had implemented the Beautiful Village program the previous year.
