The first step taken by BPS Kota Tarakan in the success of the innovation of the Cinta Statistic Village (Desa Cantik) was to hold a coordination meeting with the regional apparatus of the candidate for Desa Cantik, namely Kelurahan Kampung Empat, on Friday (16/4) at the local village office.
Titled "Kelurahan Kampung Empat Preparing for 100 Cinta Statistic Villages (Desa Cantik)", the event was also attended by the Head of BPS for North Kalimantan Province, Head of BPS for Tarakan City, Village Head for Kampung Empat, representatives of East Tarakan District, Kampung Empat dasawisma group, and City BPS officials. In this meeting, Mrs. Nani Fitrianti (Head of Village of Kampung Empat) briefly explained the profile of the Kampung Empat area along with the potential and problems to be resolved. Following up on this, Ms. Tina Wahyufitri (Head of BPS for North Kalimantan Province) said that sectoral statistical guidance through Desa Cantik aims to improve the competence of urban village officials in data management and utilization, so that the implementation of village development is more targeted. In addition, this innovation aims to form a statistical community in realizing pro-people data collection to evaluate sectoral programs.
The presentation ended with the support of BPS Kota Tarakan in carrying out the mandate to assist and guide the Kampung Empat Village to have up-to-date data. This support is also part of the implementation of the BPS mission in fostering Ministries / Institutions / D / I through a sustainable National Statistics System.
The hope is that the spirit of the regional apparatus and the enthusiasm of the event participants will never subside and the cooperation and good collaboration from various parties will be the key to the realization of the Gorgeous Village, Kampung Empat Village in Tarakan City.
