The Development of Sectoral Statistics in Desa Cinta Statistik or Desa Cantik is one of the innovations carried out by BPS in 2021 as a form of BPS 'responsibility in conducting sectoral statistics development. Desa Cantik has the goal of being a forum for collaboration between BPS and villages / wards in strengthening the development of statistical activities, especially at the village / kelurahan level. Following up on the program, the BPS-Tarakan City BPS Cantik Village Team held an internal coordination meeting on Wednesday (24/3) as a form of preparation for a visit to Kampung Empat Village, East Tarakan District as the chosen sub-district.

On the following day, the BPS-Tarakan City BPS Cantik Village Team conducted further coordination by visiting the Kampung Empat Village Office and East Tarakan District to create a Cantik Village in Tarakan City. Several things were discussed, among others:

- Preparation of human resources in guarding the beautiful village program both from the villages of Kampung Empat and BPS Tarakan

- planned visits to regional secretaries and OPDs related to the city of Tarakan in the context of socializing beautiful villages

- Seeing the readiness of the infrastructure and infrastructure of Kampung Empat Village, which will later compile a plan in making the design and appearance of Desa Cantik in Kampung Empat Village.
